CFP: 14th Annual Northern Graduate Philosophy Conference

Details

We invite submissions by graduate students of approximately 3,000 words in length on any topic in any mainstream philosophical tradition, with priority given to submissions in philosophy of language and philosophy of race. Submissions accessible to a general philosophical audience will be favored. Only one submission per person will be considered. Philosophers from underrepresented or historically disadvantaged groups are particularly invited to apply.

Please send the following as separate attachments, in .pdf or Word (.doc, .docx) format, to niugsac@gmail.com:

  • A cover page, containing:

    • Author’s name

    • Institutional affiliation

    • Email address

    • Title of paper

    • Topic or subfield

    • Word count

  • The paper itself, anonymized for blind review. Please include a title page with an abstract of no more than 150 words.

Responses to submissions will be sent by October 1, 2020.

Note: We are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 situation, and how it will affect academic events in the fall. We plan to provide regular updates to those who have submitted papers.
