Details

The Philosophers’ Camp presents an evening of conversation with Middlebury College Scholar in Residence Dr. Bill Vitek and Dr. Kathleen Smythe of Xavier University hosted by Marianne Patinelli-Dubay.  Our discussion will be focused on a recent anthology of essays titled "The Perennial Turn: Contemporary Essays from the Field." Written from multiple perspectives, students and teachers in both high schools and universities will find the essays challenging and useful in their work.  Beyond the classroom, readers who are concerned with the state of the world will find the anthology speaking to the urgency of our time.
