Details

Epicureanism and Stoicism have been read as fundamentally opposing philosophies, and scholarship on them has offered a diverse array of topics for scholarly analysis from the literary to the ethical to the scientific.  As part of a semester-long Epicureanism Awareness Project planned for spring 2013, Alpha Iota chapter of Eta Sigma Phi is now accepting proposals for a mini-conference on Epicurean and Stoic philosophy to be held at the University of South Carolina on March 22, 2013.  Presentations can address any topic pertaining either school.  Abstracts from both undergraduates and graduates are welcomed.

Please send a page long abstract for a 20 minute presentation including your name, institution, email and physical address, and phone number to [email protected] by February 22, 2013.
