CFP: 2nd Annual De La Salle University Senior High School Philosophy Conference

The 2nd DLSU Senior High School Philosophy Conference is an event arranged by La Société, the DLSU SHS Philosophy Club in partnership with Samahan ng Lasalyanong Pilosopo. 

This conference shall serve as an opportunity for Senior High School students-from any school—to know and build a community of camaraderie across the globe as the next generation “philosophers of the age” The event aims to be a synergizing venue to articulate philosophical research and for students to receive feedback to further improve their work

The goals of the 2nd DLSU Senior High School Philosophy Conference would be to:

1. Actively promote an interdisciplinary approach to  philosophical thought in literature, film, culture, arts, history, and business by inviting all Senior High School strands to participate in the event

2. Strengthen critical thinking,contemplative reasoning, and research capacity skills inside and outside the institution through partnership invitations and research contributions across schools in the Philippines

3. Uphold the continuous progress of knowledge and enhance an inclusive environment that inspires students to voice out their ideas 

GUIDELINES FOR PRESENTERS

1. Participants must be Senior High School Student/s in Grade 11 or Grade 12 

2. Students may come from any national or international school and from any SHS strand

3. May be doing research on various fields in Philosophy such as but not limited to Epistemology, Existentialism, Phenomenology, Feminism and Postmodernism, Moral and Sociopolitical Philosophy, etc. Interdisciplinary works are also accepted.

GUIDELINES FOR AUDIENCE

1. Audience members may come from any national or international school

2. May be from any educational level
