SUMMARY:Postcolonialism\, Postcommunism and Postmodernism - 8th International Interdisciplinary Conference

DESCRIPTION:
Conference online (via Zoom)
\n
CFP:
\n
In our postmodern world there are a lot of questions that should be re-considered and re-defined. What does it mean to fight against colonialism and racism in the world of migration crisis and xenophobic attitudes towards minorities? What does it mean to be a postcommunist country in the face of the common nostalgia for order and rules? How is it possible to have a national identity being aware of the relative character of every national feature?

We want to examine the notions of postcolonialism\, postcommunism and postmodernism as thoroughly as possible\, from many perspectives and in variable aspects: in politics\, society\, psychology\, culture\, and many more. We also want to devote considerable attention to how these phenomena are represented in artistic practices: in literature\, film\, theatre or visual arts.

We invite researchers representing various academic disciplines: history\, politics\, psychology\, sociology\, anthropology\, philosophy\, economics\, law\, literary criticism\, theatre studies\, film studies\, fine arts\, memory studies\, migration studies\, consciousness studies\, dream studies\, gender studies\, postcolonial studies\, medical sciences\, psychiatry\, psychoanalysis\, cognitive sciences and others.

Different forms of presentations are encouraged\, including case studies\, theoretical investigations\, problem-oriented arguments\, and comparative analyses.

We will be happy to hear from both experienced scholars and young academics at the start of their careers\, as well as doctoral students and undergraduate students. We also invite all persons interested in participating in the conference as listeners\, without giving a presentation.

We hope that due to its interdisciplinary nature\, the conference will bring many interesting observations on and discussions about postcolonialism\, postcommunism and postmodernism.

Our repertoire of suggested topics includes but is not restricted to

I. Cavell&rsquo\;s work traversed traditional disciplinary boundaries&mdash\;engaging deeply with philosophy\, literature\, film\, opera\, psychoanalysis\, politics\, and both American and European traditions of thought. In the spirit of his intellectual breadth and transnational sensibility\, we are organizing a three-part international conference to celebrate his life\, work\, and legacy in Paris\, Rome\, and Boston.
\n
Why This Conference Matters
\n
Stanley Cavell transformed philosophy into an act of acknowledgment&mdash\;of self\, of others\, and of the everyday. His writings on skepticism\, language\, film\, and the ordinary remain vital at a time when trust in both language and human connection faces renewed challenges. From&nbsp\;Must We Mean What We Say?&nbsp\;to&nbsp\;The Claim of Reason\, from&nbsp\;The World Viewed&nbsp\;to&nbsp\;Pursuits of Happiness\, and through his readings of Emerson and Thoreau\, Cavell helped redefine the scope and style of philosophical writing and teaching.
\n
His engagement with Wittgenstein and Austin reinvigorated the ordinary language tradition\, while his interests in modernism\, cinema\, and American transcendentalism forged a philosophical voice that responded to&mdash\;and often transcended&mdash\;the academic context.
\n
This centennial conference will bring together philosophers\, literary scholars\, and critics to reflect on Cavell&rsquo\;s legacy and extend the conversations he began.
\n
This call for papers concerns all three installments&mdash\;Paris\, Rome\, and Boston&mdash\;of the Cavell at 100 conference.
\n
Suggested Themes:
\n
We welcome proposals that engage with the following themes or propose new directions for exploring Cavell&rsquo\;s thought.
\n
\n
Wittgenstein\, Austin\, and Ordinary Language Philosophy
\n
Cavell and the Analytic Tradition
\n
Skepticism and Acknowledgment
\n
The Philosophy of Film and Popular Culture
\n
Modernism\, Literature\, and the Arts
\n
Music
\n
Shakespeare and Tragedy
\n
Psychoanalysis
\n
Emerson\, Thoreau\, and American Transcendentalism
\n
Moral Perfectionism and Ordinary Ethics
\n
Forms of Life and Anthropology
\n
Gender and the Feminist Conversation
\n
Democratic Politics
\n
The Concept of America
\n
\n
Conference Foci:
\n
Paris will focus especially on Ordinary Language Philosophy\, Film\, and Popular Culture.
\n
Rome will center mainly on Ethics\, Politics\, and Forms of Life.
\n
Boston will treat primarily Philosophy and Literature\, Tragedy\, Music\, and the Idea of America.
\n
Some themes&mdash\;such as skepticism\, modernism\, the ordinary&mdash\;cut across all three conferences.

DESCRIPTION:
We are excited to announce that the Second Biennial Conference of the&nbsp\;Society for the Study of Measurement will be held at the University of Edinburgh&nbsp\;June 22-25 2026. The main conference will take place June 23-25\, with a pre-conference day of workshops held on June 22.&nbsp\;
\n
We are delighted to announce that Professor Jana Uher (Greenwich) will be our keynote speaker and that Professor Luca Mari (Universit&agrave\; Carlo Cattaneo - LIUC) will be giving the society&rsquo\;s inaugural presidential address.
\n
Organiser and Host for the Conference: Jo Wolff (University of Edinburgh)
\n
Queries: measurement2026@gmail.com
\n
On behalf of the Council of the Society for the Study of Measurement: Luca Mari (President)\, Eran Tal (Secretary)\, and Council Members Leah McClimans\, Nadine de Courtenay\, Miguel Ohnesorge\, David Torres Irribarra\, and Mark Wilson.&nbsp\;
\n
Topics
\n
Please see below for a non-exhaustive list of suggested topics\; we particularly welcome contributions that make contact with this year&rsquo\;s conference theme: Ground Truth and Validity. While the notion of measurement validity is comparatively familiar\, ground truth may need more of an introduction. The concept of ground truth has origins in remote sensing\, where it is used to contrast the outcomes of a near or ground level measurement with outcomes of a remotely sensed measurement. From these origins\, the concept has now moved to a wider use\, particularly in machine learning contexts\, where it denotes data assumed to be true\, which can then be used to calibrate and validate machine learning data. The time seems ripe for a more careful investigation from a measurement perspective of the concept of ground truth&mdash\;both in its original understanding and in its more metaphorical use.
\n
Measurement and Simulation
\n
\n
Connections between measuring and simulating
\n
Can simulation substitute for measurement?
\n
\n
Measurement and Data Science
\n
\n
Measurement and data quality
\n
Measurement and data analysis
\n
Measurement and AI
\n
\n
Models in Measurement
\n
\n
The role of models in measurement
\n
The role of models in justifying measurement results
\n
Models\, intersubjectivity\, objectivity\, validation
\n
\n
Models of Measurement
\n
\n
The general structure of the measurement process
\n
The structure of measurement in social and human sciences
\n
Transduction and calibration in measurement
\n
History of the conception of the structure of measurement
\n
\n
History\, Philosophy and Sociology of Measurement
\n
\n
Exploration across sciences with diverse philosophical perspectives
\n
New quantification and measurement approaches
\n
Epistemological and metaphysical approaches to measurement
\n
\n
Measurement Applications and their conceptual foundations in any area of science
\n
\n
Life &amp\; Health Sciences
\n
Geosciences
\n
Social &amp\; Historical Sciences
\n
Physical Sciences
\n
Engineering &amp\; Computing
\n
\n

The aim of the conference is to foreground philosophical work in the analytic tradition (very broadly conceived) that is informed by queer experience\, community\, and theorizing\, as well as to build community among queer scholars in philosophy and beyond. In addition to talks\, the conference will include a poster session\, a workshop on LGBTQIA+ activism\, two public events\, a party (of course)\, and other glam surprises. The conference will conveniently take place at the University of California\, Santa Cruz during the week leading up to San Francisco Pride.
\n
There are several ways to apply and participate: by giving a talk\, by presenting at our QWIP (queer work-in-progress poster sessions)\, or by serving as a commentator (senior faculty are especially encouraged to participate in this role). QWIP is geared toward early stage work\, public-facing projects\, and cross-disciplinary work\, and it is open to upper-level undergraduates. We are also seeking submissions for session chairs. The goal is to bring as many queer philosophers as possible together for a few days of community-building and queer philosophizing. Applicants to last year&rsquo\;s event are encouraged to apply again.&nbsp\;
\n
We are happy to announce a Graduate Student Prize in Queer Analytic Philosophy\, which features a $1000 award. Those applying for the paper prize should submit a full paper in addition to an abstract. The prize recipient will give a talk at the conference.&nbsp\;
\n
We have some funding available to support the travel costs of participants\; priority will be given to those who lack research funds and are in precarious employment situations.&nbsp\;
\n
We are also committed to making this event accessible for all. For questions about accommodations\, please contact our Accessibility Coordinator\, Erin Beeghly\, at erin.beeghly@utah.edu.
\n
This event is generously funded by an APA Diversity and Inclusiveness Grant.&nbsp\;
\n
Topics for papers and work-in-progress may include\, but are not limited to:
\n
\n
\n
Imagination and desire from a queer perspective
\n
\n
\n
Ideology\, propaganda\, and queer/anti-queer activism
\n
\n
\n
Standpoint epistemology and cishet ignorance
\n
\n
\n
Self-knowledge of gender and sexuality
\n
\n
\n
Discriminatory language and hate speech
\n
\n
\n
Resistant queer linguistic practices
\n
\n
\n
Identity labels and representation of queer identities
\n
\n
\n
Varieties of essentialism about LGBTQ+ identities
\n
\n
\n
Queer solidarity and forms of political organizing
\n
\n
Queer experience and approaches related to class structure &amp\; politics
\n
\n
\n
Queer experience and approaches related to race
\n
\n
\n
Re-imagining and abolishing the family
\n
\n
Gender reform and abolitionism
\n
\n
\n
Metaphysics of sex\, gender\, and sexuality
\n
\n
\n
Queer critiques of science (including\, but not limited to\, mathematical\, physical\, biological\, and mind sciences)
\n
\n
\n
Queer aesthetics and the aesthetics of queer art
\n
\n
\n
Philosophical aspects of historical queer thought and queer approaches to the history of philosophy (ancient\, medieval\, and modern)
\n
\n
\n
Queer topics\, experience and approaches to the philosophy of emotions and reactive attitudes
\n
\n
\n
Queer topics\, experience and&nbsp\; approaches to the philosophy of love\, sex\, and relationships
\n
\n
\n
Bioethics and the treatment of queer bodies
\n
\n
\n
We look forward to seeing you in Santa Cruz for three days of philosophy\, community\, and celebration leading into Pride!&nbsp\;
\n
Questions? lmlyons@ucsc.edu
\n
norlandi@ucsc.edu&nbsp\;
\n
Accessibility coordinator: erin.beeghly@utah.edu&nbsp\;
\n\n
To apply\, please fill in this form:&nbsp\;
\n\n
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1RqUIjseKwcCLgtJKKrhvFGE1BClh8fqZ3eTooCEvnwM/viewform?edit_requested=true&nbsp\;&nbsp\;
\n\n
If you are interested in presenting a paper or poster\, please submit an abstract of around 750 words (a maximum of 1\,000 but no less than 500 words)\, prepared for anonymous review and suitable for a 45-minute presentation (followed by discussion) to a philosophically-informed audience that may include non-philosophers. DESCRIPTION:
We invite submissions for an international conference on the philosophy of science and the ethics of science from both historical and systematic perspectives. The conference is centered on the question of how Arthur Schopenhauer&rsquo\;s philosophy might help illuminate central issues in contemporary reflection on science.
\n
In recent years\, Schopenhauer has increasingly been recognized as a significant point of reference for work in both philosophy of science and ethics of science. In addition to foundational studies of his theory of science\, there is growing interest in his influence on particular disciplines\, including biology\, physics\, mathematics\, and cognitive science. The conference aims to bring these lines of research into conversation and to explore their broader systematic relevance.
\n
Please send abstracts (english or german) of approximately 300&ndash\;500 words for 30-minute presentations to jenslemanski+cfp26@uni-muenster.de
\n\n
More information:&nbsp\;https://www.uni-muenster.de/Wissenschaftstheorie/en/veranstaltungen/Schopenhauer.html

SUMMARY:The Politics of Skepticism

DESCRIPTION:
Skepticism is usually understood as a view or stance in epistemology: the skeptic raises a set of challenges to our beliefs and claims to knowledge. But doubt has always had ethical and political implications. Ancient Pyrrhonists saw suspension of judgement as a path to tranquility. Early modern thinkers used skeptical arguments against religious and political authority. In more contemporary debates over expertise\, trust\, and the "crisis of knowledge"\, questions of what we can know are inseparable from political questions.
\n
This conference explores the ethics and politics of skepticism and doubt. How does skepticism interact with politics--does skepticism undermine or enable certain political arrangements\, ideologies\, or ethical stances? What are the ethical and political implications of different skeptical views or stances? What can we say about specific contexts where doubt may be productive or perilous\, such as in democratic deliberation\, or challenges to scientific consensus?

DESCRIPTION:
Prejudice in Hume and His Contemporaries University College Dublin\, 23-24 June 2026

\n
Confirmed speakers:
\n
Amy Schmitter (University of Alberta)
\n
Jacqueline Taylor (University of San Francisco)
\n
Ross Carroll (Dublin City University)
\n
Elena Gordon (University College Dublin)
\n
Description: The early modern concept of prejudice is currently receiving renewed attention along two dimensions. First\, rising interest in early modern social and non-ideal epistemology has turned to theories of prejudice for explanations of group irrationality and group ignorance and\, more generally\, for early modern vice epistemologies. Second\, theories of prejudice are interesting for how they intersect with emerging theories of social\, racial\, gender and national identity. Despite the centrality of prejudice to long-established narratives about the Enlightenment and the rise of the &lsquo\;new science&rsquo\;\, these &lsquo\;social&rsquo\; aspects of the concept remain understudied.&nbsp\;
David Hume's views on prejudice strikingly express these social dimensions.&nbsp\;His central discussion of prejudice (Treatise 1.3.13) connects it to unreflective generalizations of humans based on perceived group membership. He couples this discussion with sophisticated socio-constructivist accounts of many kinds of social identity\, that are at the same time limited by objectionable sexist and racist beliefs.&nbsp\;
This conference aims to investigate Hume&rsquo\;s theory of prejudice along the lines indicated above\, but it will also look at his possible inspirations and at his own influence on later authors in the Scottish Enlightenment and beyond. Thus\, spreading outward from Hume\, the conference aims to produce a more comprehensive and sophisticated understanding of the social aspects of prejudice in the broad context in which he was writing.
\n
Program (Irish times):
\n
Tuesday\, 23 June
\n
Location: O'Connor Building L1.14
From 9:00 &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\;
Welcome

9:15-10:15&nbsp\;
Jacqueline Taylor (San Francisco): &lsquo\;Prejudices: Moral and Immoral&rsquo\;

10:30-11:30&nbsp\;
Jim Chamberlain (Sheffield): &lsquo\;Correcting for General Rules: Hume on Implicit Bias and Prejudice&rsquo\;

12:00-13:00&nbsp\;
Bianca Monteleone (Rome La Sapienza): &lsquo\;Reforming Gendered Prejudices: Women\, Virtue\, and Social Constraints in Hume&rsquo\;s Essays&rsquo\;
14:15-15:15&nbsp\;
Allauren Samantha Forbes (McMaster): &lsquo\;&ldquo\;Prejudices at War with Nature and Reason&rdquo\;: Emotion and Motivated Reasoning in Hume\, Wollstonecraft\, and Amo&rsquo\;

15:30-16:30
Mark G. DESCRIPTION:
Philosophy Oral Exams - Webinar
\n
&nbsp\;
\n
Queen&rsquo\;s University Belfast (ONLINE)
\n\n
Are you thinking of introducing oral exams into your philosophy assessment? Have you already successfully introduced them? Would you like to do so but are wondering about the logistics? Are you worried about how the students would respond? If the answer is &ldquo\;yes&rdquo\; to any of these\, the QUB Philosophy Oral Exam webinar is the event for you!
\n\n
The philosophy department at Queen&rsquo\;s Belfast have recently introduced oral exams in multiple modules across both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This has initially been motivated by AI-proofing our assessment methods\, but was found to have lots of other much more significant benefits\, such as developing students&rsquo\; transferrable skills (e.g.\, job interviews)\, offering a higher variety of assessment methods\, and a quicker turnaround for marking. Based on the surveys we&rsquo\;ve conducted\, the response from students has been really positive too.
\n\n
While these exams are pretty standard outside the Anglosphere\, they seem to be still relatively novel in English-speaking philosophy departments. Quite a few fellow colleagues from other universities have been asking us how it all worked. Others have had useful tips from their own experience of introducing oral assessments. So we thought it would be useful to organise a quick webinar to create a space where best-practice tips can be shared.
\n\n
The (informal) webinar will take place online on&nbsp\;23 June 2026 at 13:00 UK time&nbsp\;and will last approximately an hour. It will include:
\n\n
1)&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;A quick presentation on the implementation of the oral exam process at QUB
\n
2)&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Testimonials from our own students
\n
3)&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Q&amp\;A + discussion about other people&rsquo\;s experiences of oral exams
\n\n
If you are interested in attending\, please e-mail&nbsp\;M.Moravec@qub.ac.uk&nbsp\;to receive a Teams link
\n\n
All the best
\n\n
Maty&aacute\;&scaron\; Moravec &amp\; Suzanne Whitten

Despite its rapid institutionalisation in the 1960s\, HPS did not become a full-fledged academic discipline eventually. There have been axiological\, institutional\, methodological\, and practical challenges. DESCRIPTION:
When in danger\, humans search for places of refuge &mdash\; whether in states\, homes\, or religions. Political communities have their origins in our desire for shelter. Throughout history\, what have we thought of as places of refuge? We have many reasons to seek refuge. Sometimes\, we leave our homes in search of greater economic or educational opportunities. Other times\, the places we knew as home no longer exist. How have people justified the need to leave\, and what legitimises appeals for refuge in the eyes of receiving states and communities? And what happens when a place of refuge turns out to be just as unsafe as the place we have left behind?&nbsp\;
\n
This year&rsquo\;s conference will focus on these questions through the lens of political theory and the history of political thought. It will showcase papers addressing such topics as the relation between refuge and territorial sovereignty\, statehood\, religious and civil conflict\, trade and the market\, the family\, sexual politics\, racial politics\, and the environment. It will also take account of these questions in order to address some of the basic themes in political theory\, such as the purpose of civil association\, the relation between protection and obedience\, and the boundaries of legitimate force.&nbsp\;

DESCRIPTION:
Orientation in turbulent times
\n
This moment is shaped by competing and intensifying dynamics: on the one hand\, escalating narratives of existential technological risk\, and on the other\, waves of economic speculation and hype around AI\; alongside deepening geopolitical fragmentation\, trade conflicts\, and even open war. In this context\, digital technologies are at the centre of attention\, they have become central infrastructures through which power\, knowledge\, security\, and economic value are organised. This convergence creates both urgency and ambiguity\, demanding new forms of orientation that move beyond critique toward grounded practices of shaping technology in line with democratic and societal values.
\n
This year&rsquo\;s Digital Humanism Conference does not respond with abstraction or diagnosis alone. It turns toward action. It asks not only what is at stake\, but what is already being done\, by whom\, and under which conditions\, what we can do\, what we have to demand from our institutions. It foregrounds practices that seek to reclaim technological development as a matter of public concern and collective responsibility.
\n
In this sense\, Digital Humanism is approached as a practice. It unfolds through design\, through empowerment\, through involvement and education\, and through the everyday decisions that configure technological systems and their social effects. The conference therefore highlights the often invisible work required to align digital technologies with democratic values\, human rights\, inclusion\, diversity\, and environmental responsibility.
\n
Positioned within current global power shifts\, the conference engages critically with existing governance frameworks while maintaining a forward-looking perspective. It explores how agency can be regained and redistributed\, how dependencies can be reduced\, and how public institutions can take on a more active role in shaping digital futures.

DESCRIPTION:
This international conference brings together leading philosophers to explore foundational questions in the epistemology of medicine. How do we generate\, evaluate\, and integrate knowledge in medical science and practice&mdash\;especially in an era shaped by big data\, advanced statistics\, and artificial intelligence? By examining the nature of evidence\, causal reasoning\, and explanatory models in health and healthcare\, the event aims to clarify how different sources of knowledge can be combined to guide effective medical decision-making and policy. We place particular emphasis on scholars teaching in non-English-dominant contexts\, such as international colleges\, where English functions as a shared academic language across linguistic\, cultural\, and disciplinary boundaries.
\n
International colleges occupy a distinctive position within higher education: multilingual in practice\, globally oriented in outlook\, and committed to both academic breadth and professional preparation. These environments raise important questions about how liberal learning is pursued\, communicated in such contexts. ICIC 2026 provides a forum for exploring these questions indirectly\, through the presentation of diverse research and teaching-related work across disciplines.
\n
In this spirit\, ICIC 2026 welcomes submissions from all academic fields. DESCRIPTION:
QUEER: PRESENT! VISIBILITY THROUGH THE BODY
\n
International Conference
\n
25-26 June 2026
\n
Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań\, Poland
\n
Faculty of Philosophy
\n
The international conference Queer: Present! Visibility Through the Body aims to examine queer visibility in contemporary culture\, exploring it across a range of contexts. The title of the conference alone may serve as a catalyst for reflection on various aspects of queer visibility\, demonstrating that queer culture is present today in many forms. However\, queer people are constantly fighting to remain visible and gain access to more divergent visibility. This visibility often encounters strong resistance\; opponents view the queer body as imposing its presence\, disrupting social order and manifesting as unnecessary excess or exaggeration.
\n
During the conference\, we will highlight the physical presence of queer genders\, sexualities and romantic relations and intimacies. This is why the title of our conference is provocative: queer is present and embodied\; it is expressed in the body.
\n
Do queer bodies experience encounters with others and strangers differently when moving within cultural boundaries?
\n
When writing about corporeality\, we draw inspiration from Sara Ahmed&rsquo\;s queer phenomenology. Ahmed reminds us that\, culturally\, the divergence of sexual orientation is equated with being outside the boundaries of heteronormativity\, as if initiating a discussion about it implied queerness. From a phenomenological stance\, sexual desire and gender identity shape not only the boundaries of our world and our experience of the body: our physicality is a lens through which the outside world could perceive our intimate visibility.
\n
Silence\, secrecy\, hypocrisy and concealing one's sexuality\, desire and gender identity due to shame or fear or a culturally rooted habit are pertinent characteristics associated with the lack of queer visibility. A wider and more satisfactory presence can be achieved by creating one's own culture and by establishing better social attitudes and legal frameworks\, more accurate terms and rooting novel expectations or &lsquo\;novel tradition&rsquo\;\, although this could outrage apologists for the politics of silence. It is not easy to achieve visibility in the present moment! However\, new traditions are created and emerge before our very eyes: films\, literary works\, memorials to victims of persecution\, queer rituals and\, finally\, the concept and presence of Pride &mdash\; a joyful rejection of the humiliating concept of shame. The present allows us to document all cases of queer resistance against the politics of hatred. The goal of the narrative of hatred is to hide queer people once again and deprive them of visibility. It is an attitude that is contrary to science and is fed by invented harmful myths\, prejudices and superstitions.
\n
Queer visibility is not only an emancipatory strategy based on the idea of equality. It is also the daily struggle of every queer person for dignity and visibility. Any attempt to hide queerness is deceptive\, as it creates the false impression that it does not exist or is not needed by anyone.
\n
We invite submissions from scholars\, PhD candidates\, and independent researchers.
\n
Topics for suggested panels and papers may include (but are not limited to):
\n
1. Cultural transformations that have shaped the contemporary narrative of queer visibility.
\n
2. Changes in rooted attitudes\, social\, legislative and political moods often result in significant progress and emancipation\, but can also lead to regression and increased aggression towards queer individuals.
\n
3. Tactics\, risks\, politics\, dramatics\, performance\, experimentations\, exploration of visibility in different areas of art and cultural products.
\n
4. Queer visibility in performance\; Queer in Cinema\, Dance and Theatre.
\n
5. The contribution of queer people to art\, from poetry to mass media.
\n
6. Prospects for future visibility based on the present.
\n
The organisers are open to proposals for both individual presentations and panels. Keynote speeches are planned. Detailed information will be updated on the conference website https://queer.web.amu.edu.pl
\n
Conference language: English.
\n
Presentation length: 15-25 minutes\, depending on the final number of accepted contributions. Format: on-site.
\n
Venue: Collegium Minus\, ul. They should be sent by email to queer@amu.edu.pl (or marjed7@amu.edu.pl)
\n
Submissions should include a max. 200-word abstract with a 100 word author bio and the contact information gathered in a single PDF-FILE.
\n
Notification of Acceptance: 10 March 2026.
\n
Registration fee: 150 EUR or 150 USD.
\n
The fee included a coffee breaks\, a two-course lunch to all participants (25 and 26 June) and a banquet (25 June).
\n
Important additional information:
\n
- we plan to publish articles in 2027 (an edited collection).
\n
- during the conference\, we will be hosting the management team from the Queer Museum in Warsaw\, the first queer museum in Poland and the third in Europe.
\n
Keynote Speakers:
\n
Prof. Dan Healey\, University of Oxford
\n
Prof. Joanna Mizielińska\, University of Warsaw
\n
Dr. Kush Patel\, Manipal Academy of Higher Education
\n
Conference Organizers:
\n
Prof. Marek Jedliński (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań)
\n
Docent Antu Sorainen (University of Helsinki)
\n
Dr. Krzysztof Witczak (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań)
\n
Scientific Committee:
\n
Prof. Dan Healey\, University of Oxford
\n
Dr. Kush Patel\, Manipal Academy of Higher Education
\n
Dr. Efstratia Oktapoda\, Sorbonne University
\n
Dr. Tamas Nagypal\, Mount Royal University
\n
Dr. Jana Kantorikova\, Sorbonne University
\n
Dr. Iga Mergler\, Wilfrid Laurier University
\n
Dr. Agata Mergler\, York University
\n

DESCRIPTION:
The 18th edition of the Philosophy of Management Annual Conference moves to Paris\, France\, and will be held at the EM Normandie from&nbsp\;26&nbsp\;to 29&nbsp\;June 2026. As usual\, each paper will be guaranteed a&nbsp\;45-minute slot&nbsp\;for an unhurried presentation and in-depth discussion.&nbsp\; We are looking forward to receiving your submissions by&nbsp\;1 February 2026.
\n
We welcome submissions that explore the diverse facets of management in private or public organizations through a philosophical lens. Whether it&rsquo\;s applied ethics\, social\, moral\, and political philosophy\, ontology\, epistemology\, axiology\, or aesthetics\, we encourage scholars to propose novel\, critical\, timely\, and/or controversial arguments. Submissions can also adopt a &lsquo\;meta-&rsquo\; standpoint for raising and answering questions such as:&nbsp\;What is philosophy of management?&nbsp\;Is philosophy useful for managers?&nbsp\;Is management a science or an art?&nbsp\;Can management be part of the humanities and\, if not\, what else should it be part of?
\n
Special Tracks
\n
Track 1: Politization of Business -&nbsp\;This special track invites scholars to critically examine the emergence of Political CSR and the growing politicization of business. We seek contributions that investigate how and why corporations adopt political roles\, when they should or should not adopt such roles\, the forms such involvement takes\, and the consequences for firms\, societies\, and global governance.
\n
Track 2: The Virtues of the Manager: Rethinking MacIntyre's Critique -&nbsp\;Can managers be understood not as the manipulators of MacIntyre&rsquo\;s early critique\, but as practitioners of virtue whose work sustains common goods? Might management itself be reconceived as a practice requiring virtues such as justice\, constancy\, and practical wisdom?

DESCRIPTION:
Ludwig Wittgenstein&rsquo\;s relation to ancient philosophy constitutes a riddle. Wittgenstein was certainly not a philosopher who would have commented at large on classical works like Aristotle&rsquo\;s Metaphysics\, or entered disputes concerning their correct interpretation. On the other hand\, it is well known that Wittgenstein had read select classical philosophical authors and was deeply impressed by them: after all\, he started his Philosophical Investigations with a Latin quotation from St. Augustine&rsquo\;s Confessiones\, and he refers or alludes several times to Plato&rsquo\;s dialogues (e.g. PI &sect\;46). Some manuscripts and typescripts contain further references to various ancient philosophers.
\n
The conference Wittgenstein and Ancient Philosophy hosts scholars to discuss Wittgenstein&rsquo\;s relation to the heritage of ancient (Greek and Roman) philosophy in a broad fashion\, including not only Wittgenstein&rsquo\;s references and discussions of ancient philosophers\, but also more implicit parallels and contrast between Wittgenstein&rsquo\;s philosophy and the ancient classics.
\n
The event is organized by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Finnish Institute at Athens\, in collaboration with the Nordic Wittgenstein Society.
\n
There is no participation fee.
\n
Keynote speakers:
\n
James Conant (University of Chicago)
\n
Constantine Sandis (University of Oxford)
\n
Thomas Wallgren (University of Helsinki)
\n
Organizing committee:
\n
Prof. Vasso Kindi (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens)
\n
Dr. Lassi Jakola (Finnish Institute of Athens and University of Helsinki)
\n
Prof. Anthony Hatzimoyzis (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens)
\n
More details and the conference's program is available at:&nbsp\;

It is not so easy&rdquo\; (Edmund Husserl\, Ms A VI 31\, 42a\, 1928)
\n
This conference aims to shed new light on the intriguing concept of Stellungnahme (usually translated as &ldquo\;position-taking&rdquo\;) as it is applied by early phenomenologists\, especially by Edmund Husserl and the so-called &lsquo\;Munich-G&ouml\;ttingen&rsquo\; Circle of phenomenology\, composed of Johannes Daubert\, Dietrich von Hildebrand\, Roman Ingarden\, Alexander Pf&auml\;nder\, Adolf Reinach\, Max Scheler\, and Edith Stein\, among others.
\n
Within early phenomenology\, the term Stellungnahme is first employed in a published work by Reinach in &ldquo\;Zur Theorie des negativen Urteils&rdquo\;&nbsp\;(1911\; 1982). There\, it characterizes those mental experiences\, such as belief\, striving\, or love\, which display an inherent polarity (being respectively opposed to disbelief\, struggle\, and hate) &ndash\; in contrast to representations or meanings. Reinach then takes up this concept in 1912 in his essay on &ldquo\;reflection&rdquo\; (&Uuml\;berlegung) (1912\; 1913)\, in which he emphasizes that intellectual reflection necessarily aims to establish a &ldquo\;position-taking&rdquo\;\, typically a conviction about a state of affairs (2017\, 58&ndash\;65).
\n
Soon after\, clearly drawing on Reinach\, von Hildebrand elaborates his own original approach to Stellungnahme\, through its cardinal distinction with Kenntnisnahme or &ldquo\;knowledge-taking&rdquo\; (von Hildebrand 1916\, 134). A knowledge-taking\, such as the vision of a landscape\, is characterized as a mere &ldquo\;having&rdquo\; of a content\, whereas\, in the case of a Stellungnahme\, I take a spontaneous stance with respect to the appearing object. In this regard\, intellectual experiences such as conviction\, but also affective experiences such as joy or indignation and conative experiences such as willing\, insofar as they exhibit such subjective activity\, are to be interpreted as &lsquo\;position-takings&rsquo\;.
\n
Especially in his manuscripts from the Studien zur Struktur des Bewusstseins\, Edmund Husserl also makes extensive and yet-to-be-explored use of the concept of Stellungnahme. In the theoretical sphere\, he notably distinguishes between &lsquo\;position-taking&rsquo\; understood as a positional act &ndash\; in contrast to neutral &lsquo\;mere representations&rsquo\; (1980\, 446&ndash\;47) &ndash\; and &lsquo\;position-taking&rsquo\; understood as a critical procedure aiming at the rational verification of a certain thesis (2020a\, 331\, 372). In the affective sphere\, he observes that the manifestation of a positive value often motivates an &ldquo\;affective position-taking&rdquo\; (Gem&uuml\;tsstellungnahme) as a response\, whereby the subject actively &ldquo\;turns&rdquo\; towards the object with pleasure (2020b\, 121). Lastly\, Husserl emphasizes the crucial role played by sedimented active &lsquo\;position-takings&rsquo\; in the constitution of a stable personal self (1952\, 112&ndash\;13).
\n
Finally\, Edith Stein also appeals to the terminology of &lsquo\;position-taking&rsquo\; in her 1922 Beitr&auml\;ge zur philosophischen Begr&uuml\;ndung der Psychologie und der Geisteswissenschaften (2010\, 49\, 133). Following von Hildebrand and Husserl\, she asserts that an emotion &ndash\; for instance\, joy &ndash\; is not a &ldquo\;knowledge-taking of the value&rdquo\; (Wertkenntnisnahme) &ndash\; for instance of beauty &ndash\; but rather a subjective stance towards the axiological object\, and thus a &ldquo\;response&rdquo\; (Antwort) thereto.
\n
The concept of Stellungnahme thus assumes a variety of functions within early phenomenology. This variety reveals the richness and power of this notion\, whose applications range from theoretical philosophy to the philosophy of emotion and to ethics\; yet it also challenges the unity of this concept and calls into question the compatibility of these diverse uses\, across authors and within the work of particular phenomenologists &ndash\; e.g.\, Husserl.
\n
Against this background\, the aim of this meeting is to advance the literature &ndash\; whose (scarce) accounts of Stellungnahme have been limited to individual authors (Carta and Delamare\, forthcoming\; Delamare 2025\; De Monticelli 2011\; Jacobs 2016\; Jardine 2020\; Loidolt 2021\; Magr&igrave\; 2022\; M&uuml\;ller 2020\; Salice 2015\; Uemura and Salice 2019)&nbsp\;&ndash\; by offering an overview of &lsquo\;position-taking&rsquo\; among early phenomenologists. To do so\, the first objective is to study the influences\, continuities\, and tensions between the accounts they propose. Emphasis will also be placed on the sources of the concept of Stellungnahme. In particular\, the psychologist Hugo M&uuml\;nsterberg (a student of Wundt) already uses this term in his Grundz&uuml\;ge der Psychologie (1900)\, seemingly with a meaning very close to Reinach&rsquo\;s. In addition\, in his 1911 essay\, Reinach explicitly refers to the works of Windelband (1884) and to Brentano&rsquo\;s theory of judgment (Brentano 1874\, 262). Finally\, a third line of inquiry will be the potential relevance of this terminology for contemporary issues\, such as epistemic agency (Jacobs 2021) or the reactional nature of emotions (M&uuml\;ller 2018).
\n
Suggested topics
\n
We welcome presentations on topics including\, but not limited to\, the following:
\n
-&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; The historical origins of the concept of Stellungnahme as used by Husserl and the Munich-G&ouml\;ttingen Circle.
\n
-&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; The mutual influences of the members of the Munich-G&ouml\;ttingen Circle as they develop their understanding of Stellungnahme.
\n
-&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; The unity\, diversity\, and evolution of the meaning of Stellungnahme within early phenomenology.
\n
-&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; &lsquo\;Position-taking&rsquo\; understood minimally as &lsquo\;belief&rsquo\; or &lsquo\;positional act&rsquo\;. The doxic modification introduced by the phenomenological epoch&eacute\; &ndash\; which brackets all Stellungnahmen (Husserl 1976\, 63) &ndash\; can also be investigated in this perspective.
\n
-&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; &lsquo\;Position-taking&rsquo\; understood maximally as a critical procedure\, based on doubt and intellectual deliberation.
\n
-&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Stellungnahme in the affective sphere\, especially the distinction between value-feelings&nbsp\;&ndash\; in which values are known &ndash\; and emotions as responses.
\n
-&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Stellungnahme in the conative\, volitional\, and practical sphere.
\n
-&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Stellungnahme\, agency\, freedom\, and the constitution of an active and stable personality.
\n
-&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; &lsquo\;Position-taking&rsquo\; and related notions &ndash\; e.g.\, &lsquo\;knowledge-taking&rsquo\; (Kenntnisnahme)\, &lsquo\;acknowledgment&rsquo\; (Anerkennung)\, or &lsquo\;approval&rsquo\; (Billigung) (Carta 2024).
\n
-&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; The influence of early phenomenology&rsquo\;s concept of Stellungnahme on later phenomenology &ndash\; e.g.\, Stavenhagen (1925\; Smith 1982\, 312) &ndash\; as well as on later philosophy more broadly.
\n
-&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; The significance of early phenomenology&rsquo\;s concept of Stellungnahme for contemporary debates.
\n
Bibliography
\n
Brentano\, Franz. 1874. Psychologie vom empirischen Standpunkt. DESCRIPTION:
Narration and self-narration represent a fundamental need of human beings as historical and cultural subjects. This fact has been recognised and studied in the field of anthropological\, cultural\, historical\, sociological and even psychological and philosophical research. According to various interpretative perspectives\, personal identity is constructed narratively (Bruner\, Ricoeur et al.)\, and is built at the crossroads between subjective experience and cultural transmission of a population.
\n
Personal identity\, therefore\, is not determined solely by psychological-affective development\, pure experience and knowledge of a more or less general and practical nature. A complex combination of elements nourishes the thoughts\, choices\, interests and behaviours of individuals\, rooted in the cultural values\, beliefs\, memory and history of a population.
\n
This\, explains\, on the one hand\, the civilising and emancipatory function of studies and research in the humanities and historical-social sciences for individuals\, peoples and communities\; on the other hand\, it explains the particular difficulty in achieving full and scientific knowledge of facts\, events and experiences. On the one hand\, the question of the objectivity of truth is dialectically linked both to the question of the representation of knowledge and to the question of the correspondence between statements and actual state of things. On the other hand\, the same issue enters into dialectic with the question of persuasion and knowledge interests.
\n
In particular\, the relationship between truth and persuasion\, between argumentative validity and communicative effectiveness\, is a source of tension and controversy. The matrix is clearly Western and has its roots in ancient thought (one can consider Aristotle&rsquo\;s distinction between rhetoric and dialectic\, or reconsider Socrates and Plato&rsquo\;s lessons or Sophists&rsquo\; perspective\, etc.). This is a critical area where the difference between convincing and persuading\, between knowing and believing\, between demonstrative discourse and discourse aimed at obtaining the consent of an audience generates\, in various ways\, tension and controversy that is as much scientific and cultural as it is political and social. On the one hand\, the multiplication of communication channels\, accessibility to social media\, the strengthening of the so-called &ldquo\;infosphere&rdquo\; and the advent of generative AI\; on the other\, the proliferation of economic and political conflicts of interests behind scientific research\, knowledge and communication &ndash\; all this seems to have further dramatised and complicated the critical issues and problems in question.
\n
However\, as numerous studies in different disciplinary field have shown\, the issue of persuasion cannot be addressed solely in the contexts of mass communication\, economic interests and political manipulation: no discursive practice is free from presuppositions and more or less conscious exercises and effects of persuasion (Perelman\, Habermas\, Toulmin et al.). The structures of persuasive discourse are transversally present in all linguistic practices\, including specialists&rsquo\; ones\, inspired by criteria of scientific rigour. The scientific-cultural universe cannot therefore be divided into two clearly separate areas: on the one hand\, the area of certain\, experimentally proven truth\, the domain of analytical reason\; on the other\, the area of relative truth\, the domain of the humanities and of a reason conditioned by pragmatic\, historical motivations\, i.e. anchored to a particular Lebensform.
\n
This situation reinforces the need for clarification of the relationship between truth and persuasion in the humanities and historical-social sciences\, and for rigorous analysis and discussion of the possibilities and limitations of persuasive practice\, beliefs\, cultural affiliations\, interests and values reflected in them.
\n
The conference aims to promote an interdisciplinary exchange &ndash\; including a critical discussion of case studies &ndash\; between philosophical and non-philosophical research areas\, with a particular (but not exclusive) focus on the following issues\, which are grouped around the main question &ldquo\;Narration and Renarration of Facts: How and When Is the Truth?&rdquo\;:
\n\n
- the relationship between truth and persuasion
\n
- the relationship between truth and communication
\n
- the relationship between truth and the languages of politics
\n
- the relationship between knowledge and representation
\n
- the relationship between knowledge and interest
\n
- the relationship between knowledge and cultural belonging
\n
- the relationship between knowledge and ideology
\n
- the relationship between identity and (re-)narration
\n
- the relationship between factuality and communicative distortion
\n\n
Organiser: Prof. Milenko Bodin (University of Belgrade)
\n\n
Submissions of a long abstract (of no more than 1000 words) and a CV are due by 30 June 2026.
\n
All applicants must indicate the following details: Name\, presentation title\, institutional affiliation\, and contact information.
\n
Please\, send your abstract and CV to: filcentar@gmail.com
\n\n
Applicants will be notified by 15 July 2026.

DESCRIPTION:
The Student Conference Logic and Metaphysics II. Logic of Metaphysics will take place from 25.09.26. to 26.09.26.&nbsp\; at the University of Potsdam.
\n
Topic
\n
The history of analytic philosophy is essentially told as a history of the development and application of logic on the one hand\, and as a continuous discussion of the question of the possibility of metaphysics on the other hand. While logical empiricism believed that metaphysical questions could be exposed as pseudo-problems using the tools of formal logic\, developments in modal logic and model theory were partly responsible for the renaissance of metaphysics that we can still observe today. In short\, since formal logic is an essential tool and distinguishing feature of analytic philosophy\, logic is also crucial in the historical and contemporary discourse on the possibility of metaphysics. In this context\, the question arises as to what functions logic fulfills in metaphysics and what questions it enables or prevents.&nbsp\;
\n
The aim of the conference is to shed light on the relationship between analytic metaphysics and its logical toolkit and to trace the historical development of analytic philosophy from a fundamentally anti-metaphysical to a philosophical movement\, which is decidedly open towards metaphysics. An examination of the second area of interest is closely linked to the role that logic plays in the dissolution and reformulation of metaphysical problems. This may take the form of systematic contributions to current debates or reviews of historical positions.
\n
Details
\n
We encourage BA\, MA\, and M.Ed. students to submit abstracts on the above topic in English. Submissions should include a brief description of the topic (approximately two to three sentences) and an abstract of no more than 400 words for a blind review. Each presenter will have 45 minutes for their presentation\, 20 minutes for the talk\, and 25 minutes for a Q&amp\;A.&nbsp\;
\n
The deadline for submissions is 30.05.26.. Please submit your application as a PDF to logicandmetaphysics@protonmail.com. Documents need to be anonymized for blind review. Please make sure to use &ldquo\;Abstract Logic of Metaphysics Potsdam 2026&rdquo\;as the subject of the Email.
\n
We particularly encourage students from underrepresented and marginalized groups to submit presentations in order to support diversity and equality at universities.&nbsp\;
\n
All submissions will undergo a blind review. All applicants will be notified by email by 22.06.26. regardless of whether their presentation has been selected. We will contact you for further organizational steps if your presentation is selected.
\n
We are working on financing the conference\, however currently we cannot guarantee a full (or even a partial) reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs. Should you be unable to finance your accommodation\, please indicate this in your email. A limited number of participants can be accommodated by the local student body.
\n
If you have any questions\, please contact the organizers logicandmetaphysics@protonmail.com. We look forward to receiving your abstracts!

SUMMARY:The Northeast Conference on Chinese Thought

DESCRIPTION:
We are pleased to announce that the 2026 meeting of theNortheast Conference on Chinese Thought (NECCT)&nbsp\;will be held October 30&ndash\;31\, 2026\, at Bentley University in Waltham\, Massachusetts. This annual conference brings together scholars and graduate students working on Chinese thought across disciplines and methodologies\, and welcomes both historically focused and comparative work engaging Chinese perspectives. &nbsp\; &nbsp\;
\n
Our keynote speaker will be Mercedes Valmisa\, Associate Professor of Philosophy at Gettysburg College. Trained at Princeton University and National Taiwan University\, her work moves across philosophy of action\, metaphysics\, and social philosophy to ask a deceptively simple question: what does it mean to act? &nbsp\; Drawing on Chinese philosophy and other cross-cultural resources\, she develops an account of agency that is relational\, collective\, and distributed rather than centered on a self-contained individual. Her books\, Adapting: A&nbsp\;Chinese Philosophy of Action (OUP\, 2021) and&nbsp\;All Things Act&nbsp\;(OUP\, 2025)\, explore how action emerges from shifting assemblages of human and nonhuman actors. This perspective reframes questions of responsibility\, power\, and collective life in contemporary social and political contexts. &nbsp\;
\n
For consideration\, please submit one anonymized abstract (between 300&ndash\;600 words) and a separate cover page (title and contact information) to necct2026@gmail.com&nbsp\;by July 1\, 2026\, with the subject line&nbsp\;&ldquo\;NECCT2026 Submission.&rdquo\; &nbsp\;
\n
We invite submissions on any aspect of Chinese thought\, as well as comparative work that engages Chinese philosophical traditions. We especially encourage submissions from graduate students and early-career scholars. This year also marks the 50th anniversary of the Hoffman Center for Business Ethics&nbsp\;at Bentley University. Founded in 1976 by W. Michael Hoffman\, the Center is one of the world&rsquo\;s oldest academic centers dedicated to business ethics. In honor of this anniversary\, we especially welcome submissions that engage business ethics (broadly construed) from perspectives informed by Chinese thought. &nbsp\; This conference is made possible by the generous support of Bentley University&rsquo\;s Department of Philosophy\, Department of History\, and the Valente Center for Arts and Sciences.

SUMMARY:Biological Naturalism about Consciousness

DESCRIPTION:
Call for Abstracts: Biological Naturalism about Consciousness
\n
November 5&ndash\;6\, 2026 &middot\; University of California\, Los Angeles
\n
Can non-biological systems be conscious? If not\, why not? These questions have taken on new weight as AI systems become increasingly sophisticated\, not least because our answers bear on which entities might matter morally.
\n
This conference focuses on biological naturalism: the family of views holding that certain biological properties are required for consciousness. Biological naturalism is often positioned as the principal alternative to functionalism. But compared to its rival\, biological naturalism remains underdeveloped as a positive research program&mdash\;its central commitments are still being clarified\, its empirical predictions are still being articulated\, and the range of strategies for defending it are only now being explored systematically. (For discussion\, see this survey: https://bit.ly/4tFSOtG.)
\n
Our aim is to bring together researchers who want to make progress toward developing a positive version of biological naturalism. We welcome abstracts outlining many different projects\, ranging from the conceptual to the empirical to the practical. Possible topics include:
\n
\n
\n
Empirical approaches to evaluating biological naturalism relative to its competitors
\n
\n
\n
Explanatory links between candidate biological properties and structural features of conscious experience
\n
\n
\n
The relationships between biological naturalism and various forms of functionalism
\n
\n
\n
Potential differences in the explanatory power of biological naturalism and computational functionalism
\n
\n
\n
Connections to animal consciousness research
\n
\n
\n
Moral and policy implications for AI welfare
\n
\n
\n
We are primarily interested in papers that develop\, refine\, or extend biological naturalism\, rather than critiques of the view or critiques of its competitors. That said\, internal critiques&mdash\;those that identify obstacles with the aim of overcoming them&mdash\;are very welcome.
\n
Keynote speakers: Jonathan Birch\, LSE\; Ned Block\, NYU\; Rosa Cao\, Stanford\; Peter Godfrey-Smith\, University of Sydney\; Matthias Michel\, MIT
\n
Submission: Please submit abstracts of up to 1\,000 words\, prepared for blind review\, via this form (https://forms.gle/CAvyjgmvoAxU74PH7) by June 30\, 2026.
