DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Political Philosophy of Technology and Engineering Reading Group</strong><br>&nbsp\;<br>Date: 27 July 2026<br>Time: 16:00&ndash\;17:30 CET<br>&nbsp\;<br>We are entering an age when the prevailing means of governing power have undoubtedly shifted towards computational systems\, and political philosophy must determine whether and how that power can be properly exercised.</p>\n<p>We will be discussing Seth Lazar&rsquo\;s <strong>Governing the Algorithmic City</strong> &mdash\; how power operates through algorithmic intermediaries\, and how it should be properly governed (link to the paper:&nbsp\;https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/papa.12279).</p>\n<p><br>We meet monthly (last Monday of each month\, except in August).
