DESCRIPTION:<p>We are pleased to host an independent in-person meeting at&nbsp\;<strong>Dalhousie University in Halifax\, 6-9 June 2026</strong>.</p>\n<p>Following strong support from CPA members for an in-person gathering\, we have organized this independent meeting in collaboration with the&nbsp\;Dalhousie Philosophy Department.</p>\n<p>This independent meeting allows us to continue our tradition of bringing together philosophers from across Canada and beyond.</p>\n<p><strong>Partner Organizations</strong></p>\n<p>We are excited to be joined by three other FHSS&nbsp\;member organizations\, creating opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>CSHPS</strong>&nbsp\;(Canadian Society for the History and Philosophy of Science)&nbsp\;- 4-6 June</li>\n<li><strong>CSHPM</strong>&nbsp\;(Canadian Society for the History and Philosophy of Mathematics)&nbsp\;- 4-6 June</li>\n<li><strong>CSSPE</strong>&nbsp\;(Canadian Society for the Study of Practical Ethics)&nbsp\;- 7-9 June</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The overlapping schedules will enable jointly organized sessions and provide many of the collaborative benefits traditionally associated with Congress meetings.</p>\n<p><strong>Updates and Information</strong></p>\n<p>Conference details\, including the Call for Papers and Abstracts\, will be available in September.
