DESCRIPTION:<p>Call for Abstracts: Iowa Philosophical Society 2026 Conference<br><br>Date: Saturday\, November 7\, 2026<br>Location: University of Northern Iowa<br>Cedar Falls\, Iowa<br><br>Abstract submission deadline:<br>October 1st\, 2026<br><br>Submission details:<br><br>Papers on any philosophical topic are welcome. Abstracts (of approximately 500 words)<br>are to be submitted by email to Robert Earle . Please include &ldquo\;IPS<br>2026 Abstract Submission&rdquo\; in the subject line. Sessions will be 25 minutes followed by<br>25 minutes Q&amp\;A.<br><br>Keynote Address details:<br><br>The keynote address that evening will be delivered by Iowa State University Professor<br>and Director of Bioethics\, Clark Wolf. Professor Wolf&rsquo\;s talk\, an Aldo Leopold<br>Distinguished Lecture Series Event\, is entitled:<br>Resources for the Future: Commons Tragedies\, Collective Environmental Action\, and<br>Intergenerational Justice.<br><br>Lead-up event (Friday):<br><br>There will also be a talk late-afternoon on Friday\, November 6th by a UNI Philosophy<br>professor (details forthcoming). For those planning to travel to Cedar Falls on Friday\, you<br>might want to consider coming early enough to join us for this talk as well as a<br>pay-your-own-way dinner at a local restaurant following.</p>
