Dr. Margee Kerr – Professor of Sociology at University of Pittsburgh 

The aim of the Building Bridges Graduate Conference is to open up a space for interdisciplinary dialogue over a particular area of research. The focus of this year’s conference will be on the topic of fear. The hope is that by offering this space for graduate students to engage other disciplines’ deliberations on fear, we will better understand its nature and influence, positive and negative.
