Description: We have seen significant economic and political shifts in the last 2+ years. Both the Covid-19 pandemic and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war continue to change the global economy and political order. During this time of disruption and shifting economic power is an opportunity to reassess ethical and governance questions and debates about international trade and capital flows. The goal of this interdisciplinary conference is to bring together ethicists, economists, political scientists, international relations scholars, policy experts, and business leaders to examine not only the political and economic impact of the events of the last two years and what it means for globalization but also how international trade and investment can be conducted more ethically as we move towards a new political and economic phase.
