Details

Concerned Philosophers for Peace is looking for high quality proposals for papers to be presented at the American Philosophical Association’s Eastern Division Conference in Montreal, QC, Canada on 04-07 January 2023. The presentations will be part of a CPP group session. These sessions are intended to showcase the high-quality and importance of the work members of CPP produce to the broader philosophical community and, in turn, to aid in CPP’s recruitment effort.

This year, we will accept proposals on any topic relevant to the mission of CPP, that is, any work that contributes to a just global peace and the critique of militarism broadly construed.

Please submit proposals of approximately 500 words along with a short professional biography to Graham Parsons at [email protected]. Proposals from graduate students are welcome. Proposals are due by 01 August 2022. In order to be accepted for presentation, authors must be registered members of CPP in good standing.
