From the 28th - 30th of September 2022 we will host a DFG funded conference “Émilie Du Châtelet in Relation to Leibniz and Wolff – Similarities and Differences” at the Center for the History of Women Philosophers and Scientists, Paderborn University Germany. Confirmed keynote speakers are Katherine Brading (Duke University) and Anne-Lise Rey (Paris Nanterre). The welcome speaker is Mercator Fellow Jeffrey McDonough (Harvard University).The conference is part of a DFG funded research project dedicated to exploring Émilie Du Châtelet’s relation to Leibniz and Wolff. As part of the project, Jeffrey McDonough and Clara Carus will prepare an edited volume on the project theme. Please look out for the call for abstracts for presentation of a paper at the conference and the separate call for papers for publication in the volume.
