Northern Association for Ancient Philosophy 2014

As part of the University of Leeds’ centenary commemorations of World War I (http://arts.leeds.ac.uk/legaciesofwar), the Northern Association's Annual Meeting 2014 will include a special panel on: The Justice, Ethics and Conventions of Warfare in Greek Thought.

With particular reference to the Peloponnesian War (431-404 BC), the panel will explore the conduct and understandings of warfare from the perspectives of Greek philosophers and thinkers.
