Details

The WMU Graduate Student Association of Philosophers is pleased to announce its 16th Annual Graduate Student Philosophy Conference. The conference will take place January 27- 28, 2023. Currently, the conference is scheduled to be held in person. However, the event will be moved online if the state of the pandemic necessitates it. We are excited to have Dr. Justin Clarke-Doane (Columbia University) and Dr. Quayshawn Spencer (University of Pennsylvania) join us as our keynote speakers this year. Submissions by graduate students in any field of philosophy are welcome; we especially encourage submissions from members of historically underrepresented groups.

The conference is free and open to the public.

Submission Guidelines: Submissions should not exceed 3500 words (not including abstract, footnotes, or references) and should be accompanied by an abstract of 350 words or less. Please send submissions to [email protected] in PDF format. Include your paper submission in one document and your affiliation, paper title, and abstract in a separate document. If applicable, please also include the following statement in the identification document: I am a member of an underrepresented group. Prepare your submission for blind review by removing any identifying information from the body of the paper.
