Please submit the final version of the paper without author names or affiliations, eliminating any obvious self-references. The issue will be targetted to both work in modeling that raises philosophical issues, whatever the discipline of origin, and work in philosophy that concentrates on specific cases of modeling in any of various fields.   The special issue will expand on themes form the Epistemology of Modeling & Simulation conference at the University of Pittsburgh in April (http://www.modelingepistemology.pitt.edu).

Papers that cross boundaries between computational modeling and philosophy are welcomed, whether tied to the conference or not.
