Studying Populism Today: Challenges and Orientations

Populism' has emerged as one of the most hotly debated topics both in the broader public spheres and in academic research. What are the main challenges in researching populism today and how can we best address them? Drawing on the contributions of discursive research, this paper will map a series of recent developments in populism studies.
