In the Slow Reading seminar Cymene Howe aims to invert the accelerationist behaviors that foment chaotic thinking, foster inequalities, provoke anxieties and render us overwhelmed. We live in a world of information, to be sure. And that can be a good thing. But it can also be destructive to our attentions, our depth of thought and our encounters with ideas.

Giovanbattista Tusa will present his ideas on The Real and Ontology, touching on cinema and climate justice.
