Keynote Speaker: Tamar Schapiro (MIT)

Summary: The Philosophy Graduate Student Association at Texas Tech will hold its 15th annual Philosophy Graduate Student Conference on April 14th and 15th, 2023 at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. This conference will be held in person. The conference theme will be normativity (broadly construed). 

Submission Guidelines: Papers should be no more than 3,500 words in length (excluding the abstract and references). The conference theme is normativity, but we will accept papers on any philosophical topic. However, preference will be given to papers on topics relating to normativity. A 150-200-word abstract should precede the paper. All papers should be prepared for blind review. Submissions should be in .PDF format.

Notification of Acceptance: Around mid to late February 2023.

We advise that you seek a travel stipend through your home department. Presenters will be provided meals and refreshments during the conference.
