The Memorial University Department of Philosophy invites submissions for its 4th Philosophy Graduate Conference on Nature, Body, and Feminism, which will take place between May 3-5, 2023. The conference will be in hybrid modality, and the in-person portion will take place at Memorial University, St. John's, NL. The keynote speaker will be Hasana Sharp (McGill University).

Submissions should include abstracts of a maximum of 500 words in length prepared for blind review and be suitable for 30-minute presentations (~3,500 words), followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. They can be in any area of philosophy broadly related to the theme from graduate students and early-career researchers who wish to participate in the conference. The submission deadline is January 31, 2023, and decisions will be made by February 28, 2023. Please submit your abstract through this form.

At this time, we cannot guarantee funding to support the students traveling to St. John's to present at the conference, but we will endeavor to provide support as best we can. If you are in need of financial support, please indicate this in your application.

Further details of the program will be available in March. Registration for the conference is free, and all are welcome.
