Call for Papers - Auslegung: A Journal of Philosophy 


Auslegung is published by the Graduate Association of Students in Philosophy at the University of Kansas.


Auslegung is accepting paper submissions for the Fall 2023 issue. 


Topics in any area are welcome, with Auslegung having specific strengths in Well-Being, Ethics, AI and Data Ethics, Early Modern Philosophy, Philosophy of Technology, Computation, and Philosophy of Mind. 


Submissions not exceeding 9000 words (excluding footnotes and endnotes) should be prepared for blind review - identifying information, such as author(s) name and institutional affiliations, should not be included in submission. Manuscript should include reference page and footnotes should be formatted as such. Submission should include references. 


Electronic submissions should  be  prefaced  by  a  separate  cover  page including: article title, authors name, address, telephone number, email address, and academic institution. Authors should also include on a separate page an abstract not exceeding 150 words. 


Electronic submissions should be PDFs and submitted to Auslegung’s submission portal:

Submissions Open: December 1st, 2022

Notification of Desk Decision: 1 month after submission


Notification of Final Decision: 2 months after submission
