DEADLINE EXTENSION 28/02/2023: FINAL CALL

The inaugural Dutch Undergraduate Conference in Philosophy will take place April 14th, 2023. We are delighted to have two distinguished philosophers as our keynote speakers:

Mari Mikkola, Professor of Philosophy and Chair of Metaphysics at the University of Amsterdam

Michael Brady,Professor of Philosophy and Head of the School of Humanities at the University of Glasgow

We invite undergraduate students, from the Netherlands and abroad, to submit papers on any topic in philosophy. Papers submitted to the conference should be 2500-4000words long. The papers should include an abstract of no longer than 350 words, written in standard academic English, and should be anonymised for blind peer-review.

Student talks should last between 20-30 minutes, followed by a 15 minute Q&A session.

Upon submission, please include your name, paper title, and institutional affiliation in the body of the email.

Please send your submissions by 28th Febuary 2023. Late submissions will not be considered. We are aiming to respond to all applicants by mid February.

The conference will take place at University College Roosevelt in Middelburg. Further information can be found on our websitedutch-ug-conf-philosophy.squarespace.com. We hope to be able to cover travel and some accommodation costs up to a fixed amount per person.
