The Portuguese Philosophical Society, in partnership with the Philosophy Department of the University of Évora, organizes its 5th International Congress,  to be held in the city of Évora, at the University of Évora, on 14-16 September 2023. The Congress welcomes all researchers interested in presenting and discussing their research in all domains of philosophical studies. A large panel of Portuguese philosophers will be responsible for the scientific evaluation of the anonymous abstracts submitted.

The Congress welcomes talks on any philosophical topic and according to any philosophical methodology. Talks should be associated to one of the following sections:

Submission of abstracts:

We accept abstracts written in Portuguese, English, French or Spanish. These must be prepared for blind refereeing and mention the section of the Congress the author wishes the talk to be a part of. Abstracts should aim at talks taking 20 minutes + 10 minutes for discussion.

Thematic Pannels:

Authors may propose thematic pannels comprising from 3 to 9 talks. Besides the content of each talk, abstracts for talks in pannels should also mention a title for the whole pannel and an author in charge of the pannel, who shall be its chair.

Pannels may be sponsored by research projects or units/centers.
