The symposium concerns the logical and philosophical work of Jan Łukasiewicz, one of the greatest logicians of the 20th century, the founder of many-valued logic and parenthesis-free notation, the rector of University of Warsaw, and a minister in Ignacy Jan Paderewski's government.   

The event is a part of the celebration of World Logic Day  UNESCO and is connected with the closure of the exhibition on Łukasiewicz in the University of Warsaw.
