Details

The last twenty years have seen multiple methodological revolutions in the philosophy of science: there has been increased diversity concerning the questions asked, who does the asking, the relevant audiences, and the techniques and tools in play. This workhop aims at a reflective exploration of methods employed in the philosophy of science. Contributions to the workshop will span a wide variety of methods employed, ranging from conceptual analysis, case studies, and feminist epistemology to digital humanities, integrated history and philosophy of science, the sociology of scientific knowledge, as well as anthropological approaches.
