CFP: The 17th bi-Annual International Virtual Conference on

Freedom, Human Rights, Global Crises, Solidarity & Values at www.dialogo-conf.com/, May 20-28, 2023

Incentive: Every Society needs to be bound together by common values so that its members know what to expect of each other and have some shared principles by which to manage their differences without resorting to violence. The values of peace, freedom, social progress, equal rights, and human dignity, enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations and in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and many other endeavors of same fabric, are no less valid today than when, over half a century ago, those documents were drafted by representatives of many different nations and cultures. Disillusioned with globalization, many people have retreated into narrower interpretations of community. This, in turn, leads to conflicting value systems, which encourage people to exclude some of their fellow human beings from the scope of their empathy and solidarity because they do not share the same religious or political beliefs, cultural heritage, or even skin color...

Harold G. Koenig, Duke University (USA); Stephen David Edward, University of Zululand (SouthAfrica); Christoph Stückelberger, Globethics.net President (Switzerland); Marc Schmitz, Union Européenne des Huissiers de Justice (UEHJ - Belgium); Patrick Gielen, (UEHJ), Brussels; Guillaume Payan, University of Toulon (France); Oğuzhan Tan, University of Ankara & Osman Murat DENIZ, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi (Turkey) - will deliver this year’s keynote address
