Join us for the 21st lecture and discussion in our ongoing quarterly series - Philosophers In The Middle of History - hosted by the Frank Weyenberg Library in Mequon, Wisconsin! This session will focus on understanding a major thinker of the ancient period - Socrates - within the intellectual, cultural, and political context of his times. Each of the sessions in this quarterly series focus on one important figure in the history of ideas, and place them within their broader cultural, political, and social contexts. Each of the thinkers lived and worked in times of considerable conflict and change. You can learn more about the series, and find links to all of the previous sessions here. https://medium.com/gregory-b-sadler-ph-d/philosophers-in-the-midst-of-history-series-f48234a24522
