A 1½ day Workshop on the Philosophy of Wilfrid Sellars is to take place in the centre of Dublin, Ireland, on Monday and Tuesday June 4–5, 2012 (hosted by the School of Philosophy, University College Dublin (UCD)). Following the Workshop will be a 3-day Sellars Centenary Conference on Wed-Fri June 6–8 with papers by Robert Brandom, Paul Churchland, Willem deVries, Robert Kraut, Rebecca Kukla & Mark Lance, John McDowell, Ruth Millikan, James O’Shea, Huw Price, David Rosenthal, Johanna Seibt, and Michael Williams.
Deadline for Abstracts: February 1st, 2012. Updated information will be available on the website: www.sellarscentenary.com. The abstracts are for 25 minute presentations and may be on any aspect of the philosophy of Wilfrid Sellars. Length of Abstract: 2 pages (or 600–1000 words). Attach the 2-page abstract, in PDF format and prepared for blind review, to an email with the subject heading, “Sellars Abstract”, to be sent to this address: [email protected].
