Cologne-Leuven Summer School in Phenomenology: Essentials of Husserl's Phenomenology

This Summer School held in English language should give aninsight in the central themes of Husserlian Phenomenology:intentionality, foundation, evidence, horizon-intentionality,constitution, eidetic method, transcendental reduction, streamof consciousness, intersubjectivity, time-constitution and life-world.These themes will be presented in lectures together with adiscussion. In the afternoon there will be a textual analysis thatshould enhance the understanding. The lecturers are: Prof. Dr.Saulius Geniusas (Hongkong), Prof. Dr. Alice Pugliese(Palermo), Dr. Peter Andras Varga (Cologne / Budapest), Dr.Dirk Fonfara (Cologne), Prof. Dr. Dieter Lohmar (Cologne) andMarco Cavallaro MA (Leuven).

We are planning for a level that should help to inform intensively on essentialtopics of Husserlian Phenomenology on a medium level but we are also openfor discussions of methodological questions on the level of doctoral studentsand postdocs.
