The Philosophy Graduate Student Association (PGSA) of Florida State University is now accepting submissions for their graduate conference on free will, moral responsibility, and agency.

The conference will take place at Florida State University on September 29-30, 2023. Keynote speakers will be:

Carlotta Pavese, Cornell University.

• R. Jay Wallace, UC Berkeley.

The conference will be held in Dodd Hall Auditorium. Conference participants can access the auditorium via either stairs or ramps, and wheelchair accessible tables as well as theater-style seats are available in the auditorium. Microphones will be available for presenters.

Those interested in submitting high quality papers related to free will, moral responsibility, or the wider notion of agency should email their submissions to [email protected]. Papers should be submitted along with a cover page. The criteria for the paper submission and cover page are as follows:

Paper Requirements

• Prepared for anonymous review

• No more than 4,000 words

• Suitable for 25-minute presentation

Cover Page Requirements

• Presenter’s name

• Institutional affiliation

• Contact information

• Title of paper

• 150-250 word abstract

• Word count

The deadline for submissions is August 18, 2023. We will notify those whose papers have been accepted no later than September 1, 2023.
