Annual Conference

Our annual conference will take place at King's College London (KCL) on Saturday, 26th October 2013. Our theme this year shall be: 

'Contemporary Political Theory, Analytical and Continental'

Topics may include, among others:

• Liberty and equality;
• The equal protection of the laws in a multi-cultural (or culturally diverse) society;
• The liberal-communitarian debate;
• Post-national citizenship in contemporary Europe (the relevance of Habermas and Foucault and other major European thinkers);
• The legitimacy of the state today;
• Feminist Theories;
• International (relations) political theory;
• Armed humanitarian intervention and other issues in international justice.
