Details

We are pleased to announce the second annual Rice University of Houston Graduate Student Conference to be held November 17-18, 2023.  Theconference’s theme is “Mind, Value, and Moral Psychology.”   John Doris is our keynote speaker.  The conference fills a gap between value theory, philosophy of mind, and moral psychology. But in general, any article in one of these realms is welcome.  There will be 4-5 graduate students presenting each day followed by commentary from graduate student commentators. All the papers are peer-reviewed. The first day will end up with a roundtable: philosophers and psychologists will discuss a subject in moral psychology.  Breakfast, lunches, and dinner will be provided for all speakers and commentators.
