CFP: PhilCogSci @ CASIP: New Directions in Situated Cognition (Sept. 21-22 2023)

We invite contributions working within the philosophy of cognitive science, with an emphasis on situated approaches in the cognitive sciences, broadly construed. We are particularly interested in contributions that establish and develop close relationships between scientific practice, methods and outcomes, and the philosophy of cognitive science - the ways such approaches can contribute directly to progress in the cognitive sciences.
If you are interested in presenting, please send your abstract to [email protected] or [email protected] by July 31st 2023. Please include your name, affiliation, and status (i.e., student, postdoc, faculty) in the body of your email. The subject line should be ‘PhilCogSci @ CASIP: New Directions in Situated Cognition’. Abstracts should be within 300 words. We will notify acceptance/rejection by August 7th 2023.
Note: Travel and COVID-related restrictions for international travellers to China are no longer in place, and all visas are once again available. At present, only a self-declared negative rapid antigen test (RAT) within 24 hours of boarding is required before boarding a flight to China.
