Call for Papers
We invite MA, PhD and postdoctoral researchers from all areas and lines of research in philosophy to register for our paper sessions. We accept papers from research programs in other areas, as long as they intersect with themes in philosophy.
The submission should contain the title, the abstract with 250 to 350 words and 3 to 5 keywords. It should also follow academic standards, stating in a few lines the theme, the objectives and the main concepts, hypotheses and ideas to be mobilized during the presentation. Papers are expected to reflect significant stages or conclusions of excellent research, addressing relevant and well-defined problems. Abstracts in English, Spanish or Portuguese, on any topics in philosophy, will be accepted. Only one submission per author is allowed, and only by current master’s and doctoral students or postdoctoral researchers.
The number of applications is limited and there is no guarantee that everyone will be admitted, so please ensure that the instructions have been followed. The selected papers should be presented as communications of maximum 20 minutes, in round tables organized by common language and thematic affinity. At the end of each panel, there will be approximately half an hour for questions and comments. All communications tables will be in online format, streamed on YouTube via StreamYard.
We seek equal participation from people of all genders and strongly encourage contributions from women and people from the LGBTQ+ community. General screening of abstracts will be done according to academic quality, but in case of oversubscription, selection of papers produced by people from underrepresented groups in philosophy will also be considered.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: 07/24 TO 08/10
