CFP: Kent Postgraduate Conference in Aesthetics

The aim of this conference is to provide a platform for postgraduate students and early career academics with an interest in aesthetics to present their research and share ideas. Submissions are welcome in any area of aesthetics and the philosophy of art. Drawing on the unique academic identity of the History and Philosophy of Art department at the University of Kent, there will be a special panel session held on the intersection of art history and philosophy of art for which submissions are especially encouraged.

Please send 500-word abstracts for 20-minute papers to the organisers at [email protected] by 10 October 2013; please also direct any questions to the same email address. We are intending to offer travel grants to postgraduate students, but the number and size of these grants will vary depending on funding. This conference is supported by the British Society of Aesthetics and the University of Kent and is organised in association with the Aesthetics Research Centre (http://www.aesthetics-research.org/).
