The philoSOPHIA Executive Committee (EC) is delighted to share our 2024 philoSOPHIA Call for Proposals (CFP). This year's conference will be held from March 14-17 as a hybrid event, both virtually and in-person at Mt. Royal University in Calgary (Treaty 7 Territory, Canada), featuring keynotes from Qrescent Mali Mason (Haverford College), Natalie Loveless (University of Alberta), and a special plenary session by sound studies philosopher Robin James.    The theme is "Feminist Making, Doing, and Sensing," and we welcome proposals for participatory workshops and experimental making/doing sessions in addition to papers. We are also in the early stages of reaching out to editors about submitting a collection of papers, arts-based work, and other forms of feminist thinking into a special journal issue or volume.
The deadline for proposals is September 25, 2023. You can see the full CFP and details on how to apply on our website, For any questions or information, contact Ada Jaarsma and the organizing team at [email protected].   Please circulate this CFP widely to all who may be interested!!
