Details

We are pleased to announce that our 23rd annual graduate conference, jointly hosted by the philosophy graduate student communities at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh, will be held in-person on the Carnegie Mellon campus on March 16, 2024.

In addition to the selected graduate presentations, which will be accompanied by commentaries from graduate students within the hosting Pitt-CMU communities, we look forward to featuring a lecture from our invited keynote speaker, Elisabeth Camp (Rutgers University).

We eagerly welcome paper submissions from graduate students working across all areas of philosophy, especially encouraging submissions from members of groups that remain underrepresented within our discipline.

Submission Guidelines: To be eligible for consideration, submitted papers should be no more than 5,000 words (excluding references), suitable for a 30 minute presentation (plus Q&A session). Submissions should be in .doc or .pdf format, should include a 300 word abstract and an initial title page, and should be prepared for blind review by graduate students from within the Pitt-CMU communities.

Submission Deadline: December 1, 2023 (11:59 pm EST)
