Performance Enhancement & Health (PEH) invites submissions for a special issue on neuroenhancement, performance, and health. As a multi-disciplinary journal, we welcome research from a variety of fields that investigate the impact of neuroenhancement on human functioning and health.

Neuroenhancement refers to the use of drugs, devices, or other interventions to enhance cognitive, affective, and social abilities such as memory, attention, and creativity. The special issue aims to explore the effects of neuroenhancement on various aspects of performance, including productivity, creativity, learning, and decision-making.

Special issue information:

Performance Enhancement & Health (PEH) invites submissions for a special issue on neuroenhancement, performance, and health. As a multi-disciplinary journal, we welcome research from a variety of fields that investigate the impact of neuroenhancement on human functioning and health.

Neuroenhancement refers to the use of drugs, devices, or other interventions to enhance cognitive, affective, and social abilities such as memory, attention, and creativity. The special issue aims to explore the effects of neuroenhancement on various aspects of performance, including productivity, creativity, learning, and decision-making.

Potential topics for submission include, but are not limited to:

  • The effects of neuroenhancement on cognitive performance in different domains, such as work, education, the military, and sports.
  • Ethical, social, and cultural implications of neuroenhancement.
  • The impact of neuroenhancement on mental health and well-being.
  • The use of neuroenhancement in clinical populations.
  • Neuroenhancement and aging.
  • Neuroenhancement in the workplace and its impact on employee performance.
  • Neuroenhancement in education and its impact on academic performance.

Submissions can include quantitative and qualitative research, as well as theoretical and conceptual articles. All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed, and those accepted will be published in the special issue of Performance Enhancement & Health.

Please note that manuscripts must fall within the scope of the journal, and all submissions will be evaluated based on their relevance to the topic of neuroenhancement, performance, and health.
