CFP: Ethics, Politics & Society

Call for papers  1/ 2024
Ethics, Politics & Society (EP&S) is a peer-reviewed, open-access bi-annual journal published by the Centre for Ethics, Politics, and Society at the University of Minho (UMinho).   We are now accepting submissions of manuscripts for Volume 1/2024. We invite contributions in political philosophy and political theory, in particular on topics related to justice and democracy, and on current issues in moral philosophy and applied ethics. EP&S values a variety of methodological approaches and distinct perspectives. We encourage submissions from members of traditionally underrepresented groups in philosophy and from early-career researchers. Proposals for manuscripts should be submitted through our platform: https://revistas.uminho.pt/index.php/eps/about/submissions   EP&S also welcomes proposals for special issues and book symposia dedicated to relevant topics, books, or authors within the scope of the journal. Preliminary proposals must include a brief explanation of the topic's relevance and a list of prospective contributors. For proposals involving an open call for papers, please include a draft of the call text. Guest editors for special issues and symposia will collaborate closely with the editorial board in selecting referees and overseeing the review process, and their role will be duly acknowledged in the publication of the special issue.
