CFP: Meeting of The Wisconsin Philosophical Assocation

2024 WISCONSIN PHILOSOPHICAL ASSOCATION CALL FOR ABSTRACTS! 

The annual meeting of the Wisconsin Philosophical Association (WPA) will be held on

Saturday and Sunday April 13-14th, 2024 at the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse. As in previous years, there will be a session dedicated to undergraduate presentations. 

Submissions are invited from faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students, and should be submitted to Stewart Eskew at email address: [email protected] by February 15, 2024. Papers can be in any area of philosophy but should be suitable for a twenty-minute presentation. 

Faculty and Graduate Student Submission Guidelines: 

·       -  Please email detailed abstracts (approximately 1000 words) prepared for blind   

               review as a .docx or .pdf attachment. 

·       -  Put “WPA submission” in the subject line. 

·       -  Indicate your name, institutional affiliation, and contact information in the body of  the email. 

Undergraduate submission guidelines: 

·       -  Please email complete paper (2000-5000 words) as a .docx or .pdf attachment. 

·       -  Put “WPA undergraduate submission” in the subject line. 

·       -  Indicate your name, institutional affiliation, and contact information in the body of the email. 

·       -  You may but need not include an endorsement of your submission from a faculty member or advisor.

A program of the meeting will be provided by March 15, 2024.
