Call for papers for The University of Texas at Dallas' fifth annual Undergraduate Philosophy Conference. Undergraduate students may submit papers from any area of philosophy. All submitted papers undergo a single blind review process.

The date of the conference is April 13th. Please anticipate travel plans to attend the conference in person on UTD’s Richardson campus. For those outside the metroplex who would prefer to present virtually, please include this in your application email.

Submit all papers to[email protected] with the subject line, 'Application'.

Submissions must include the following:

  • Approx. 150-word abstract
  • A paper covering any philosophical topic. Please don’t include any identifiable information (name, institution, etc.) in body of file. Completed papers should be 1500-3000 words in length and should be adaptable for an approximately twenty-minute-long presentation.
  • The conference encourages atypical, interdisciplinary approaches to topics and papers, insofar as they are reviewable from a philosophical perspective and engage a philosophical topic or problem.
