Details

The 2024 Online Conference Series is inspired by Key Themes from Arthur Peacocke's Work in what would have been his 100th year. Delegates are invited critically to re-engage with these themes from multi-faith perspectives and examine how they interact with the scientific, technological, and environmental challenges and opportunities posed by the 21st Century.

As Cooper notes panentheism has experienced a renaissance at the intersection of science and religion. The conference will explore and challenge key themes around the God-World relation including:

•Metaphysical implications of pan(en)theism

•Panentheism and the quantum universe

•God’s presence and action in a scientific world

•Space, Time, and Panentheism

•A connected world, stewardship, and environmental ethics

Confirmed Speakers:

(27 Nov) Dr Taylor Ott, KU Leuven - Panthenethism & Destructive Ecological Ethics

(27 Nov) Dr Lina Langby, Uppsala University - Panentheism, classical theism, & special divine action

(day tbc) Prof. Andrei Buckareff , Marist College - Pantheism & Panpsychism
