Grounding and Metaphysical Explanation Workshop 2024
Venue: University of Bristol, UK
Date: July 25–26, 2024
We plan to begin and conclude the workshop at around lunchtime on each day to allow time for people to travel to and from Bristol.
Theme
The theme of this year’s workshop is applications of grounding and metaphysical explanation. In line with this theme, we’re particularly interested in submissions on applied issues (e.g.) in ethics, mind, theology, law, science, social ontology, mathematics, and wider issues of metaphysics. Papers on the natures of grounding and metaphysical explanation will also be considered.

Professor Ralf Bader – Université de Fribourg
Professor Alastair Wilson – University of Leeds
