More information:
The XXVI German Congress of Philosophy will take place in Münster (Germany) from September 22 to 26, 2024. Its motto is # digital | thinking.
The congress invites participants to reflect on the challenges that digital change and the use and spread of artificial intelligence pose for philosophy.
Anyone working in philosophy can apply with an abstract / exposé for a presentation in one of the 40 sections of the congress. Exposés can be submitted from February 20, 2024 to April 30, 2024 via the conference management software ConfTool. Only one exposé may be submitted per author. Persons who apply for a presentation with an exposé written by them alone may be co-author (exactly) of another exposé; however, they may not be the presenting author of the presentation for which a group of authors is applying with this other exposé.
Please assign your exposé to exactly one of the 40 sections.
Exposés can be submitted in German or English. This time there is also a new section on “Philosophie française” - submissions for this section are only possible in French.
Your exposé must not exceed 4,000 characters (including spaces and footnotes). References do not have to be included. Please upload the synopsis as a pdf file only and remember that your synopsis must be completely anonymized.
Please see the call for abstracts on the following website (website in German) https://www.uni-muenster.de/DKPhil2024/kongress/cfp.html
We will let you know after June 20, 2024 whether your proposed presentation has been accepted. You will then find the detailed program of all sections at https://www.uni-muenster.de/DKPhil2024/kongress/index.html
