The Philosophy Department at the University of St. Thomas is hosting a two day conference on the theme of Elizabeth Anscombe and the Christian Intelllectual Tradition, to take place on June 5-6, 2024. The conference will feature presentations from eight scholars from North America and Europe. The aim of the conference is to explore the intersection of philosophy and religious belief in Anscombe's thought. Possible topics include the virtue of justice, authority and faith, natural theology, philosophical anthropology, human dignity, and the notion of mystical perception.
