The primary goal of this 1.5-day workshop is to bring together philosophers with interests in analytic philosophy from the Baltic region. We are aiming at a balanced mix of talks by local graduate students and 3--4 talks selected based on submitted abstracts. The keynote lecture will be delivered by prof. *Maria Lasonen-Aarnio* (Helsinki University). The workshop will take place on the new campus of the University of Latvia in Riga.

Keynote speaker:

·       Maria Lasonen-Aarnio (Helsinki University)

Organizers:

·       Liva Rotkale (University of Latvia)

·       Aleks Knoks (University of Luxembourg)

·       Arturs Logins (Laval University)

Submissions: We welcome submissions on themes from analytic philosophy that prof. Maria Lasonen-Aarnio has engaged with in her work. Abstracts should be no longer than 500 words and prepared for blind review. Talks should be suitable for 40–45-minute presentations. Please, submit your abstracts to [email protected], mentioning your institutional affiliation and the title of the submission in the body of your email. Members of groups traditionally underrepresented in the field of analytic philosophy and philosophers from (or with ties to) the Baltic region are especially encouraged to apply.

There will be no registration fee, and we aim to cover the catering for the speakers (including workshop dinner).
