The Women in Embodied Cognition Consortium gleefully invite creative, exploratory, and boundary-bashing thinkers to an international, transglobal, interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary conference for all areas of 4E cognition (embodied, embedded, extended, and enactive- also, ecological, environmental, and ethical).  This conference will be dedicated to those who speak to, and from, a first-person perspective of a marginalized body knowledge. 

 

We invite submissions from all disciplines that analyze and speak to issues of marginalized body knowledges, including:

Presentations of all creative forms are invited, including, but not limited to, traditional paper presentations and creative art presentations.  Interactive, collaborative, and performative styles are highly encouraged. 

We invite panels and performance art displays

Abstracts for papers or creative performances must be 1000 words.  Abstracts for panels must be 250 words from each participant plus a 250 description of unifying theme.
