The symposium will be held in
Mary Immaculate College, Limerick, on November 21–22.

The keynote speaker is Prof. Thomas Sheehan (Stanford University) and Prof. Sheehan will give the
opening lecture entitled:  “What, After All, Was Heidegger About?"

Prof. Sheehan’s talk on Thursday evening will be followed on Friday by the fifth symposium of the Irish
Phenomenological Circle. This symposium will be dedicated to ‘Meaning, Sense, and Truth in
Heidegger’s Phenomenology’.
