CFP: AFK in Florida: 3rd Annual Philosophy of Video Games Conference

Do you have cheeto dust on your fingertips and mountain dew on your desk? Is there a copy of some philosophy books also on that desk? Then this is the conference for you. As one of the guests last year reported, "the funnest [sic] conference I've been to".

Come, drink some dew, talk about philosophy of video games, and make some spelling and grammatical errors

We welcome any papers on the philosophy of video games, and will consider paper on board games, play, and philosophy through games. 

For consideration, please submit an abstract of no longer than 1,000 words to [email protected] by Oct. 15, 2023. Please include the name of the title of your paper in the body of your email. Accepted papers will give a 30-minute presentation followed by a 20-minute Q&A. The conference will take place entirely in person. Unfortunately, we will not be able to cover the cost of attending the conference, though Mountain Dew and Cheetos will be supplied.
