Submission deadline: August 1, 2024

Topic areas

The journal Contemporary Pragmatism is issuing a call for papers for a special issue/section on the theme “Rorty’s Politics.” While conference participants present at the 3rd meeting of the Richard Rorty Society in the Universidad de Guadalajara are particularly welcome to submit their contributions, the call for papers is open to anyone interested in submitting a paper on the theme of the special issue/section, which is the social and political thought of Richard Rorty.

Submitted papers should be in the 5000–8000-word range and will be due by August 1st, 2024. Longer papers might be considered in some cases, pending an email consultation with the two guest co-editors of the special issue/section.

To submit a paper to the special issue/section please send your anonymized contribution along with a title page (including a short abstract, author name, and e-mail address) by August 1st, 2024 to [email protected]

For questions regarding the special issue/section, please contact the two guest co-editors Sergio Gallegos Ordorica and Paul Showler at [email protected]
