Binghamton University’s philosophy graduate program invites submissions for its 2024 Graduate Student Conference to be held in person on November 9, 2024 at the Binghamton University Downtown Center.

We welcome graduate students of all philosophical traditions to submit abstracts related to the following topics: 

  • Social & Political Philosophy

  • Ethics

  • Legal Philosophy

  • Critical Theory

  • Feminist Philosophy 

  • Philosophy of Race

Submissions must include an anonymized abstract of about 500 words in .pdf or .doc format, with a view to present for 20 minutes followed by a 20-minute combined Q&A.

In your submission email please include the following:

  • Name

  • University affiliation

  • Current level of graduate studies

  • SPEL (Social, Political, Ethical, Legal) themes relevant to your paper

  • Your abstract prepared for anonymous review

Conference committee members will anonymously review each submission. Please email all submissions [email protected] later than September 1, 2024.
